  • How we make your wood mount

    We make your wood mount by firstly printing your photo on our satin lustre paper before laminating it with a satin film and then bonding it down to the wood mount using a special twin release cold mounting system. The advantage of using a system like this over printing directly onto wood is that your print is archival quality and will last much longer.

    Yes, collection is available for all products and can be selected at checkout. Please note, this does not change the lead time.

  • I need an urgent print? Can you do a fast turnaround?

    Yes. All our prints are delivered free of charge in Ireland and are available for express despatch if you need them in a hurry. We also offer very affordable worldwide shipping.

  • I have a hard deadline for my print. Can you guarantee delivery?

    No. Unfortunately we are unable to ever guarantee delivery by a particular date and this includes birthdays and Christmas. Please ensure you order with lots of time to spare to cope with unexpected delays in the postal system.

The Canvas Works Was Founded in 2007 by Patrick Ryan

I’m often asked how and why I set up The Canvas Works. After graduating with Honors from Trinity School of Law, I went into the advertising industry but by 2006 I’d had enough of the rat race and moved to the Ibizian countryside with my now wife, Lynne. We developed the business out there and moved back to Ireland in late 2007 where we settled in Kinsale, County Cork.
